I want to write a great review . . .

but the game was so tedious that I can't bring myself to do it. I will say that, as a history buff, I thought EA did a great job of re-creating WWII visually, especially the burned-out, smouldering villages of France. The opening mission is great, too, and that's what attracted me to the game: the way it looks. I was genuinely impressed with the atmosphere, and with the sounds. Great stuff.

But the controls! Brutal. I don't know how many times I was severely injured, even killed, because I couldn't get my target in the crosshairs, even from point blank. And, as others have said, the Nazis don't miss. If you're in close quarters, forget about it. You'll drag your crosshairs back and forth, cursing your head off because you can't get them lined up, and the eight Nazis you're fighting (by yourself) will be pumping you full of lead. Enough to drive you crazy. Some kind of auto-aim really is a necessity here.

But three stars for atmosphere, graphics, and sound. A renter, not a buyer. Too bad.

Good but dispointing

OK this game was pretty good. What I liked about this game was the fact that you were a
solider during World War 2 fighting against the Nazis. The cut scenes with the history of
WW2 was cool if you are a WW2 buff. Some of the missions were real fun plus if you
are stuck on something you can call HQ and get helpful hints. Last the sound was great if
you have surround sound like me it really sound like bullets were coming at you. What I
did not like about this game was one the graphics, which did not look real for a PS2 game
could of done a much better job on it. The controls were very hard to use, hard to walk
and aim at the same time. And there is no true story plot behind this game you are just
some no name solider "you do have a name but not much else" on some missions to do
this and that. Last no mult player mode on this game. All and all it was a fun one person
shooting game thats all with low replay value. Rent this do not buy it.

Fun Game...MOH should expand

I have enjoyed all of the MOH games, and this PS2 game is much better than the previous PS games. The controls take some time getting use to, but just adds to the challenge. It's harder than the previous MOH games on PS, but not too difficult to finish. If you ever played MOH Allied Assualt on the PC (which I think is superior to this game)then you know that playing on the PC is much better. Especially being able to play others online. Wouldn't it be great if EA games and the creators of MOH expanded to include the same game concepts to create games depicting the Vietnam and Gulf War?!? You could get the same great sounds and graphics in a new game with new surroundings and weapons.

They have done it again...

What can I say?! It is action packed from the very beginning to the end. Lots of the same weapons, a lot more "mazes" to find your way out of. I would have put a rating of "5", but the ending was disappointing. The creators could have ended it differently...but that's just my opinion. Of course, I won't give it away, but if and when you get there, you'll know what I mean. It leaves you wondering why there isn't something else... For those of you who like to try this game on different levels, you will definitely like this game...just don't get frustrated. The "hard" level is so incredibly hard, it seems as though you will never get passed the first mission. SO, Go ahead, give it a try... :)

AN ADDICTIVE GAME! YOU'LL LOVE IT!

For history buffs and game buffs alike, "Medal of Honor: Frontline" should please everybody! Full of awesome graphics (the long necks are kind of funny, but this is the only flaw) and complete historical accuracy (Dale Dye, who was military consultant on the film "Saving Private Ryan," did the same for this). The D-Day section of the game will blow you away (The German troops will too, if you ain't careful. LOL!). Awesome game! You learn something of history as well. History teachers, let your kids play this. They just might learn something! Grade: A+

The bar is set HIGH!!!

Other Video Game makers need to take note. Metal of Honor has certainly set the bar High. This game ROCKS...Where do I start the sound track certainly sets the mode, the authentic weapons, the setting of the Nazi occupied territories really gets you itching to shoot something. The ease of controlling your character, Patterson is a letal Nazi killing machine. This reveiw doesn't do this game justice, Rent..Buy..Borrow...whatever it takes. You won't be dissapointed.

One of the best war games out there. D-day comes to life in this game. Going along with the great graphics, the war scenes make you feel there. Don't miss out on this game.

This game which makes EA's Hall of Fame and Greatest Hits, is a good first person shooter game. This game is the best representation of the DDay invasion, you really can't go wrong with the opening scene of this game. The guns are realistic but hard to shoot. It really depends which game level you play as to how much fun you will have. This game does not stack up against Castle Wolfenstein, but it is a good game.

Medal of honor is THE BEST GAME I have ever played, and if you haven't played it yet you need to if you want to get the real feel of world war two in your living room. If you have some time on your hands and love war games this is a must have!
