THE BEST WRESTLING GAME IN A LONG TIME

SO I HAVEN'T REALLY PLAYED THE GAME YET BUT WHAT I HAVE READ SO FAR IT SOUNDS WAY BETTER THAN THE ORIGINAL SMACKDOWN.FIRST IT HAS MORE GAME MODES LIKE HELL IN A CELL(MY PERSONNEL FAVORITE),LADDER MATCH,CASKET MATCH AND TABLE MATCHES.THE CREATE A PLAYER SOUNDS AWESOME I MEAN YOU CREATE SOMEONE COME OUT ON THE UNDERTAKERS MOTORCYCLE,OR YOU CAN CREATE YOUR OWN TEAM LIKE THE RADICALS OR D-X I MEAN IF YOU WANT KURT ANGLE TO COME OUT WITH STEPHANIE YOU CAN JUST EDIT HIM TO DO THAT.YOU KNOW WHY YOU CAN DO THAT BECAUSE THIS GAME IS THAT DAMN GOOD IF YOU SMELL WHAT SMACKDOWN 2:KNOW YOUR ROLE IS COOKIN.

Now some of you have fogot some very cool modes. For one the create a manager mode and create a stable mode. The pre-season mode will be taken out to add a whole lot better season mode. Instead of just having writing for what they say they actually have the wrestlers voices. Also like everybody said the new wrestlers, which include:Too Cool, Rikishi, Dean Malenko, Benoit, Eddie, Trish, lita, Hardys with new outfits, Steph, Kurt Angle, Taka, Saturn, Essa Rios, plus more. Plus all the new matches: Ladder, Hell in a Cell, 4 way anywhere falls match, Tag team tornado, and casket. And here is the best part, but I don't know of its true though: You can through another wrestler off the stage. Plus there is many new backstage areas and breakable tables.

From what i've heard and seen, this is going to be if not the best wrestling video game yet. The graphics are as smooth as the first and the controls are still as easy. New features which all will be looking forward to are the table matches, ladder matches, and of course the Hell In A Cell match. This should be a great game.

This game is great, so great that it hardly got out of my Playstation.With good graphics, fast paced wrestling, wide range of WWF superstars and AWESOME options, this will also stay in your Playstation.

Ive played this game countless times and never got bored of it, yes i am a big wrestling fan but also have brothers.What do i mean? Well i mean without someone to verse such as brothers this wouldnt be in my Playstation as much as it would have.With a wide range of options such as Ladder match, table match, tag team table match,Tables & Ladders & Chairs match and the infamous Hell in a cell match and they are just some of the options and there is also countless backstage areas.All that and more makes this the ultimate 2 player game i own.

The Storyline mode is also very impressive as it is very realistic, because they really did take place at that time.In story mode you do verse different people and do get into different matches, also there are plenty of hidden wrestlers and matches to unlock, but tell me how many times are you going to do story mode?you can just have exhibition matches against the computer which is challenging but not the fun you would have versing someone sitting next to you.

I strongly recomend this game to WWF fans as you wont be dissapionted and if you have a brother, you just boosted your gameplay up to 100%.I say this game is suitable for persons over 9 years as the controls are fairly easy and the violence isnt that bad, well it is fighting but there is no blood.The only thing that was bad about this game was no commentary but the highly enjoyable gameplay makes up for it.

I don't know what to say... WOW! This game has many new modes, about 30 new characters, updated costumes, entrance videos, and music. A new edit a wrestler feature plus create a stabe, taunt, wrestler, PPV, and manager! We all love Kurt, so you can edit him so he is accompanied by Stephanie instead of letting HHH get this beautiful women. Also, the entrances are more detailed, JR and the King are at ringside, and there are tables, ladders, and chairs, Oh my! Plus, there is a improved season mode with voiceovers!

I do not own this game, but I know its the best ever. This game has HIAC, casket, table, tagtables, ladder, TLC (unlock first), tornadotag, anywherefalls, specialref. (1 or 2), I Quit, Iron Match, handicap (1/2 1/3 1ontag), 3way, 4way and more. You can even combine matches. (example: a 3wayanywherefalls) The career mode is the best ever on a Playstation,(but it still can't beat No Mercy), and the Create-A-Wrestler mode is the best out of all the wrestling games I have ever played! Create-A-Taunt can take some time to get used to, but Create-A-Stable, Create-A-Manager & Create-A-Taunt gets in the mix once you create a wrestler. With over 60 superstars, this game is wild. But still with all these new features, you can never get tired of it. THQ went out with a bang on the Playstation, and I cant wait to see what they have in store for us on PS2. SD2 has lots of flaws in it. Like commentary, or extra costumes. The wrestlers don't go all the way to the ring, but you see the flash of fireworks and everything. There is a whole list of improvements. The graphics seem like they haven't changed. But they have improved (Tazz's tatoos, a whole Worm, a perfect People's Elbow, a higher Pedigree) And the camera action is awesome. The angle switches with every move. This game has different DDT's like the Dangerous DDT, Standing Tornado DDT, Inverted DDT, Reverse Tornado DDT, Tornado DDT etc. They even have Triple H do the Knee Smash on a running opponent! And they renamed the Press & Knuckle to the Lou Thesz Press like real life! And moves such as the Shaky Knee Drop and D'Lo Leg Drop are easier now because you just do it by the head. The list goes on but I must stop. I hope you buy this game, because it will most likely be the best game of the year!

If you are a true wrestling/videogame fan you need to check this one out. No, I haven't played it like 99% haven't but if you played the first one and liked it then there is no doubt you will love this one. They have all new features plus the updated roster including a few j-brones. They even have a TLC match. Yep, all 3 at the same time. They have screenshots to prove it too.

Finally the Rock has come back to Playstation

Ok I bought this game and it is down right awesome and I love it. I just love how the season mode follows the same storyline till you do something else that changes it. I played an ironman match and it was awesome. This has got to be the best wrestling game ever to hit the markets. This game is a great game and it is just hard to get enough of. I can't stop playing this game for anything. I love the game and everything in it. I only gave it five stars because I couldn't give it 4 1/2 cause that wasn't a chioce and I didn't want to give it a four cause that would be to harsh. The only flaw in this game that I can see is that there are no J.R. and Jerry Lawler voices during the matches and thats something I plan on seeing when they do the next Smackdown on the PS2. Still this game is a must buy for wrestling fans. So really I give this game a 4 1/2
