I have Sims, Sims "Livin' Large", Sims "House Party", and the Sims "Hot Date", they are all awesome and I love all of 'em. My favorite would have to be "Hot Date" Because it's the lastest until Sims "Vacation". Thats' how I heard about it on the internet and when I did I freaked because besides Pok'emon I'll pick Sim's anyday of the week! I just wish all you people who haven't heard about it - this is my advice to you - Get all five now because when you pick the first up you wont put it down and so on with the rest! And wait, there is more. My favorite part about the sims is that you control their life and that you can tell them what to do and stuff like that - for instance, if you like to be a very, very, messy person, you can be one but the bad part is you flys, roaches and other stuff in your house too. But any way thats not me - I am a very, very clean freak - I like to keep everything just right - for instance I - by the way I have a made on the sims so thats really cool to. So - back to the story - like I said, I pay my bills I am a Pharmacist and my wife is a C.O.P. so she keeps me strait! Thats about all I have to say so - Bye! Later! And remember, Excellente! Baby!

O.k

I think that the game is a bit borring. You don't get alot of new vacation spots. Out of all of the sim games the sims hot date would be the best. I think that it is funny how they fish. I don't like the lady who cheaks you in and out.

Great Vacations!

The Sims Vacation Expansion Pack was another package I put off getting and I am sorry I did so. I used purchased it through a user on Amazon and got a really great deal on it and have found it's quite a fun game! You can go snowboarding, fishing, sleep in an igloo, tent, or a hotel...see the beach...it's pretty limitless. Not only that but you have games at almost every place you goto. By collecting tickets, you can win souveniers which you can bring home and place on curio cabinets (just like the pet trophies in Sims Pets). You have another challenge, the group/family who participates the most among the 'campers' in the various camps, win some kind of award. I'm not sure what that is since I've not won yet - heh. But I certain have been trying! I would suspect this would be easier if you have a coulple of kids running around as well as two parents.

Nevertheless, I have found the games to be a lot of fun and there's a lot of humor behind the games. Like punting a chicken through the air? I still laugh when I hear that chicken sqwuak. You aren't tied down to any area either, if you're in the snowy mountains, you can call for transport to the beach front hotel if you like. Or the fishing grounds and camp out. What really surprised me, is you can buy postcards, and then mail them off to anyone you've met back in old town or Sim town while you're on vacation! I absolutely loved that feature. Regardless, I still can't believe I put off getting this expansion pack for so long, but I'm sure glad I have it now.

Sure, this is a good game, in the beginning. It was fun for the first two days or so. Then, you run out of things to do. There aren't many choices giv en with this "pack". I wouldn't choose this as any of my favorites.

Who needs a vacation?

I don't know about everyone else out there who plays the Sims, but I think A vacation for my sims is more work than just staying at home.

At home my sims know where everything is, and everything is where they want it, if they don't like something I can fix it. On vacation things can't be moved around. A lot of things are so far apart that it takes almost an hour to find something to do. Also, becuase of the way buildings and tents are set up it's difficult to see my sims without changing the camera angle.

At home the walls can be set to vanish, but the same can't be done to whole buildings. Another problem is routine. Sims function best if they hav e adaily routine. At home it's set, but when the sims are on vacation it's almost impossible to get a routine going smoothly.

The vacation expansion was cool, new characters are introduced, new friends are made, but it's a lot of work for the sims. I think it's easier just to stay at home.

least favorite expansion pack

I've been playing the sims with every expansion pack as soon as they come out for a very long time. I've enjoyed every single one, for their new interactions, new objects, new places to go, etc, but this really has to be my least favorite. I've found that vacation island is a hassle, although I had no problem with glitches. It didnt come with that many interesting objects, and didnt peak my interest at all. I feel like this expansion pack just takes up space on my computer that I could be using for something more worthwhile.

I don't recommend The Sims on Vacation unless you've played the other games.

It does have some good points such as new furniture, new clothing styles and relationship scores. However it takes up half your disk drive space and is cumbersome to work. There are multiple freezes which slow the game down. When you give an order it takes a long time for it to be enacted. It is not a very intelligent game and teaches you nothing about the real world.More details must be supplied.

ok so I bought this game thinking it would be really cool. After playing a few times it got boring. Now I just wanna get rid of it! I'm sorry I paid ...[price]... for it. I got "the Sims Unleashed", that's better and actually fun even after a while. Unlike the "vacation" expansion pack.

ok, so you think this game is just like the others? Well this is defenitly the best expansiom pack! You can go to the beach, go snowboarding, go camping, (You get to create all of this) and there is a new hot tub where you can cuddle, and "Play" You can also basicly ask people out, too! Call them to bring them to old town, or ask them to go on vacation with you! I hope this was helpful to you!
